Unfortunately this is true. I have been to this place about 5 times. It WAS beautiful, however it was all lost in what we in Australia call ‘Black Saturday’ A massive wild fire obliterated so many beautiful places such as this. However he is Rebuilding and well underway. Just google ‘Marysville fire’ and you will see. many lives lost and the town destroyed. That weekend most of Victoria was burning.

Thanks for the confirmation altho I am sad to hear it.
Very cool he is rebuilding, however!
